Memory board
Each DL585 processor memory board has eight DIMM slots for 266-megahertz PC2100 DDR SDRAM memory. Consider and follow all cautions and requirements for these DIMMs when performing removal and replacement procedures. See the Maintenance and Service Guide for more information.
Removing
- Press down on the two locking levers until the board unseats.
- Pull the memory board up out of the server.
Replacing
- Locate memory board slot and insert memory board.
- Press locking latches down to secure. Make sure that the locking levers fully
snap into place.
- Finally, before installing a processor memory board, ensure that all of the DIMM retention levers are in the closed position.
