Smart Array controller

Before you begin

1. Remove power to the server.
2. Remove the access panel.

Removing the Smart Array controller

1. Press down and rotate the PCI latch up.
2. Lift the Smart Array controller board up and out of the server.
3. Disconnect the cables.

Replacing the Smart Array controller

1. Holding the Smart Array controller board above the PCI slot, connect the cables.
2. Insert the controller board.
3. Press down firmly to seat.
4. Rotate the PCI latch down to close.
